Undated "New Edition", c1898. Original wavy-grained mustard cloth, lettered in gilt. Front board speckled, rear board more marked with line across middle; internally clean and tight, good. The author's name appears only on the binding, not on the title page. Guinee had written a three-decker novel -- Talbot's Folly, 1882 -- and this appears to be his only other identifiable work of fiction. Short stories -- largely humorous -- dealings with the workings of the British parliament, and parliamentarians.
