Three volumes in original fine-ribbed blue-grey cloth, with elaborate blindstamped designs on front boards, lettered in gilt on spine; royal blue endpapers. Lightly scuffed, small chips on endpapers, signatures (1899) on versos of front free endpapers, otherwise very good. [NB, there is smokey odour in the book]. Wolff [799]. Is Aubrey Truscott -- travelling showman, protégé of a quack doctor -- really the last of the Dynmokes and Squire Jasper's missing heir -- or an imposter? Probably inspired by the Tichborne Case. A heavy 3-volume set which will require additional postage outside the UK. View more info
