Short Stories by British Authors. Original blue cloth, with red shield and gilt ornament on front board, lettered in gilt on spine. Cloth lightly but unevenly sunned, and marked on boards, a little faint foxing, good. Twelve short stories. Tirebuck is remembered mainly as an editor of poetry, and writer on art: his handful of fiction titles is very scarce. The series -- Short Stories by British Authors -- seems to have been short-lived. COPAC lists only two other titles: In a North Country Village (M. E Francis, 1893) & Six Common Things (E. F. Benson, 1893).
