Articles on housekeeping, cookery, girls' education, careers advice, science; advertisements for governesses; an article on votes for women with correspondence from readers; "Chats with Sisters on Women's Privileges and Responsibilities". Original red cloth, illustrated in black and lettered in gilt. Generally sunned, corners rubbed, inner joint papers lightly cracked, but joints tight, thus fair/good. The magazine changed its name to Our Sisters after this volume, but only seems to have lasted another two years before folding. A heavy item which will require additional postage outside the UK.
