Lightly scuffed, rear board speckled and lightly sunned on edge, undated signature on front free endpaper, foxing (heavy on early/late pages), otherwise good. A collection of 51 short stories "thrown together during the course of an easy run through the Austral Colonies, Eastern and Pacific seas, and South and Central America.". Tichborne was the author of several books set in the southern Pacific, including Noqu Talanoa (1896), Snakes (1896), & Rambles in Polynesia (1897).
