Original pale green cloth on bevelled boards, illustrated and lettered in colour on front board. lettered in gilt on spine. Front board grazed/lightly scratched, endpapers tanned, foxing spots on early/late pages, good. Sixteen short stories of a generally horsey and sporty nature. Mason was an artist and illustrator, as well as a writer. The illustration on the front board appears to be by him, but otherwise the book is not illustrated.
