Undated edition, c1900 - 1905. Introduction by W. A. Brockington. Illustrated by Gordon Browne. Original steel-blue cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt on spine; grey endpapers. Scuffed on spine ends, with small nick at foot, very good. Gresham published this title in at least three different bindings: maroon leather with green boards, a decorated navy blue cloth with designs by Talwyn Morris, and this simpler blue cloth. After Dark consists of six stories (A Terribly Strange Bed, A Stolen Letter, Sister Rose, The Lady of Glenwith Grange, Gabriel's Marriage & The Yellow Mask), with a linking narrative, purportedly by Leah Kerby who has "collected" the stories.
