"Library" edition. Original fine-ribbed green cloth with repeated dandelion design on boards, lettered in gilt. Lightly scuffed, a few foxing spots, front inner joint paper lightly cracked (joint tight), bookplate on front pastedown, good. The inventor-cum-manufacturer super-hero, Henry Little, endures Trades-Union outrages and treachery from his rival in love for the beautiful Grace Carden. The novels builds to a terrific climax with a disastrous dam-burst, based on the very real Sheffield flood of 1864.
