Original orange cloth, lettered in black and gilt. Light scuffing and a few faint marks; a little browning on endpapers, very good. The ironic story of a rogue and his doings and enterprises around the world. In the last paragraph Todd prepares to leave for Patagonia and warns the reader: "if anybody wants you to take shares in the Patagonian Prairies Peopling Company Limited, don't you do it." Published anonymously and with the title on the binding rendered as The Autobiography of Amos Todd Adventurer.
