London Longmans, Green & Co. 1871 Hardcover Very Good Book 
Undated, but a single volume in the cabinet edition (10 vols) of the works of Disraeli, issued 1870 - 1871, with adverts announcing the one-volume edition of Endymion (which appeared as a three-decker in 1870). Original brown cloth, lettered and decorated in black and gilt; all edges gilt; dark green endpapers. Minimal scuffing, a little light foxing, very good.

New Edition. Mid C19th scarlet leather over blue marbled boards. Lightly scuffed on extremities, slip torn from top edge of title page (previous owner's has torn off a signature), armorial bookplate on front pastedown, good.

London Longman, Green & Co. 1880 First Edition in Three Volumes Hardcover Good Book 
Three volumes in original red cloth, lettered in silver on spines; grey-and-white leaf-patterned endpapers. Corners lightly scuffed, evidence of removed plates on front boards (watermarks -- see photo), light foxing, lettering a little rubbed on spine on volume II: a tight set: good. Sadleir [712]. The novel -- Disraeli's last -- was issued as "by the author of Lothair", although his new title, the Earl of Beaconsfield, appears on the spines. Heavy: may require additional postage outside UK.

London Longmans, Green & Co. 1877 Hardcover Good Book 
New Edition, Yellowback (undated, but with publisher's catalogue for January 1877). Original pictorial paper-covered boards. Spine relaid on cream card: new endpapers. Edgewear, chip to top corner on front board and on spine. A sympathetic restoration: now good.

London Macmillan & Co. 1895 Hardcover Very Good Book Fred Pegram 
Original blindstamped deep crimson cloth, lettered in gilt. Spine lightly sunned, foxing spots, otherwise very good. Disraeli's most famous novel: an attempt to reconcile the upper and working classes.
