Undated, but a single volume in the cabinet edition (10 vols) of the works of Disraeli, issued 1870 - 1871, with adverts announcing the one-volume edition of Endymion (which appeared as a three-decker in 1870). Original brown cloth, lettered and decorated in black and gilt; all edges gilt; dark green endpapers. Minimal scuffing, a little light foxing, very good.

New Edition. Mid C19th scarlet leather over blue marbled boards. Lightly scuffed on extremities, slip torn from top edge of title page (previous owner's has torn off a signature), armorial bookplate on front pastedown, good.

London Henry Colburn 1844 First Edition in Three Volumes Hardcover Fair Book 
Three volumes in mid C19th maroon leather over marbled boards, decorated in gilt on spines, brown endpapers. All labels missing from spines (titles etc remain impressed in leather); some scraping to surface of leather. Volume I has the front board detached. THus a reading/working/rebinding copy of one of Disraeli's most important novels. With all faults. A heavy three-volume set which will require additional postage outside the UK.

London Longman, Green & Co. 1880 First Edition in Three Volumes Hardcover Good Book 
Three volumes in original red cloth, lettered in silver on spines; grey-and-white leaf-patterned endpapers. Vol I: damp mark along leading edge of rear board also affecting rear endpaper. Vol II: cloth a little loose on rear board, otherwise good. Vol III: small damp mark on bottom corner of rear board, also affecting endpaper, good. Text blocks clean and tight. Overall still a good set. Sadleir [712]. The novel -- Disraeli's last -- was issued as "by the author of Lothair", although his new title, the Earl of Beaconsfield, appears on the spines. Heavy: may require additional postage outside UK.
